Located in Chester Maryland, Pins To Pearls has been beautifying women across the great state of Maryland since 2005. Owner and seasoned beauty technician Shanna Biesel grew weary of “working for the man” and began her quest to self employment and developed her own business. Since its inception, Pins To Pearls (formally known as Hair For A Special Affair) has grown to become one of Maryland’s foremost wedding stylist’s.

A Digital Mind was brought on board to help develop the complete Shanna’s vision of what she thought the brand should be. From there we developed and implemented a variety of marketing and branding techniques to help her further establish what Pins To Pearls is today.

Though Shanna had already developed her website, we aided in branding the page a bit better, implemented proper SEO and made it easier for customers to navigate the site. The businesses former name, “Hair For A Special Affair” was rather lengthy and did not fully encompass the host of services the company now offered. What started off as professional hair styling, over the years, grew into a complete offering beauty services, such as; Hair, Make-up, Tanning and Lashes. Then in 2016, Pins To Pearls was born.

Through A Digital Mind, Shanna chose a variety of offered services to help re-brand her company and gain market share over her competition. Services Include: Filming, Video Production, Logo Design, Animation, Website Design and Management, Copy-Writing, Graphic Creation, Photography, Social Media Engagement, E-Mail Marketing & More.

Island Floors: Chester, Maryland

petrinidesign@gmail.com — Thu, 23 Feb 2017 20:41:15 +0000

After over 30 years of running a successful commercial flooring company, the owners of Island Floors decided their expertise and services would also be best served in residential homes. Island Floors opened their new retail store in Chester Maryland towards in the spring of 2016. When searching for a company to help them design a new website, the owners remembered a guy named Chris Petrini that had a design / marketing style unlike anything they had seen before on the Eastern Shore.

We ran into Jeff and Kat Knisley, the owners of Island Floors MD, while filming a promotional video at/for Wye River Kennel in Queenstown, Maryland. As avid animal lovers, we all hit it off and and when they opened their new store front, they gave us a call. After a few short meetings, A Digital Mind created a complete website that truly sets Island Floors apart from its competition. Through extensive research, we found that many customers were turned off by “too much” information they simply did not understand, along with the overselling and under-delivering of services. With that in mind we developed a clean / minimalist look to Island Floors website with the goal of making it simple to navigate and understand offered services. Coupled with the Knisleys industry experience, honesty and hard working nature, www.islandfloorsmd.com was a hit and added un-measurable value to the companies overall brand and marketing reach.

Services included: Website Design & Implementation, SEO, Photography, Social Media Development, Copy-Writing & Logo Design
