Located in Crofton Maryland, Bradleigh Applications Inc. is highly regarded as the Mid Atlantic’s premier installer and renovator of exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) for large and small commercial clients. 

A Digital Mind began working with B.A.I. in November of 2017 as the photographer of their employees.  The relationship quickly grew into a long term partnership that now includes the photography of the buildings they provide services for, a brand new website, sign making, logo & business card design, print advertising and much more. 

Bill Dick, President of B.A.I., who assumed ownership of the company in 1995, says he always envisioned his company rising to its current level of professionalism.  But he knew it hinged on his employees, both the old timers and new hires, being well-trained not only on the companies product offerings, but on how to interact with new customers in a clear and professional way.  “It begins with being polite, courteous and respectful of one another.  But it also comes down to learning how to properly deal with owners, project managers, vendors, distributors and anyone else who interacts with the company.”

Located in Grasonville Maryland, the dock bar known as “The Big Owl” has remained a local hot spot for locals for decades.  Sittting at the end of a dock, surrounded by the waters of the Kent Narrows, The Big Owl is famously known for 3 things.  Great Live Music, Beautiful Sunsets and Delicious Food.  As the current owners entered into their 11th year running this highly coveted Tiki Bar, they decided it was time to update their website.  And that’s where we came in…

A Digital Mind was brought on board to create a new, mobile responsive website, that encompassed what travelers and locals alike, love about coming to The Big Owl.  We started with a completely new website design that immediately addressed what sets this bar apart from others in the area.  With bright colors and plenty of photography, we were able to capture the vibe of The Big Owl and digitally convey that to customers who view the site.  Being that The Big Owl is so well known for their live music, an events page, was a must!  We were able to create a fully integrated events calendar that would allow users to view upcoming events, view band photos and text and share those events on social media. 

From there it was onto the Menu!  The Big Owl has quite a few dishes that the locals rave about, so it was important to highlight those dishes to visitors of the site.  Along with their most popular dishes being highlighted on the home page, a complete menu page was created to indicate what each dish includes and its price. 

Finally, the owners needed a way for new employees to submit an application for employment, directly on the site.  2 separate forms were created on the contact page to address that issue.  One form is more of a general contact form for customers and entertainers, while the other allows job applications to quickly and easily apply for a job at The Big Owl.

Based in Los Angeles, Perfect Engine is a well known engine rebuilding facility dedicated to providing the highest quality rebuilt engines, re-manufactured engines, cylinder heads, crankshafts, camshafts, engine parts and import auto parts to customers throughout California.  Founded in 1977, the company is located in tough engine environment, where vehicles are subjected to heat, traffic, hills and stop- and-go driving on a regular basis.

With ever growing product requests from clients and a nearly 24/7 need for those products, Perfect Engine teamed up with A Digital Mind to build a shopping cart site.  We chose a big commerce solution to host the site, in order to handle the thousands of products and sku’s that came with selling a large range of products.  Since the business did not have a standardized list of products or the proper management software solution, We first had to download load each and every product, its data, sku’s and prices into a standardized excel sheet.  Once all product were photographed and the information was completed, we then had the task of creating a navigation tree for the site and populate the site with all the product date.

Quite a bit of work was done to make this website a viable selling tool for the company.  From data management and creation, to product photography, SEO and site development, this rather extensive project took nearly 2 years to fully complete.
