Located in Chester Maryland,  Pins To Pearls has been beautifying women across the great state of Maryland since 2005.  Owner and seasoned beauty technician Shanna Biesel grew weary of “working for the man” and began her quest to self employment and developed her own business.  Since its inception, Pins To Pearls (formally known as Hair For A Special Affair) has grown to become one of Maryland’s foremost wedding stylist’s.

A Digital Mind was brought on board to help develop the complete Shanna’s vision of what she thought the brand should be.  From there we developed and implemented a variety of marketing and branding techniques to help her further establish what Pins To Pearls is today.

Though Shanna had already developed her website, we aided in branding the page a bit better, implemented proper SEO and made it easier for customers to navigate the site.  The businesses former name, “Hair For A Special Affair” was rather lengthy and did not fully encompass the host of services the company now offered.  What started off as professional hair styling, over the years, grew into a complete offering beauty services, such as; Hair, Make-up, Tanning and Lashes.  Then in 2016, Pins To Pearls was born.

Through A Digital Mind, Shanna chose a variety of offered services to help re-brand her company and gain market share over her competition.  Services Include: Filming, Video Production, Logo Design, Animation, Website Design and Management, Copy-Writing, Graphic Creation, Photography, Social Media Engagement, E-Mail Marketing & More.

Since their beginnings in 1999, Wye River Winds has flourished into the Easter Shore’s premier location for Performance Horse Training and Boarding.  Owners and Trainer, David Walbert,  grew up in Queen Anne’s County as a member of the Pony Express 4-H club.  In 1986, David earned the MD State Championship in Showmanship and went on to become the Maryland State Horse Judging Champion.  Since that time, owner and professional trainer, David Walbert, founded Wye River Winds.  The eastern shores most trusted and most sought after establishment for raising, breeding, boarding and training horses.   Evey year, Wye River Wind’s horses compete at the regional, national, and world championship levels.

In 2016, A Digital Mind was offered the task of developing a website for Wye River Winds.  The goal was simple.  Create a easy to naviagte website that the owner himself could easily manage and update on an as needed basis, once the development of the website was complete.

Goals for the website included:

  • Being able to download boarding contracts from the site
  • Google Map / Geo Location Integration
  • Pricing and Offered Services Pages
  • Developing text about the company, its history
  • Company Blog

Located in Queenstown, Maryland, Wye River Kennel is 20.6 wildlife enriched acres situated at the beautiful head-water of the Wye River. Established in 1985, the kennel as become a highly regarded “vacation destination” for the 4 legged family members of many residents of the Eastern Shore.

Though Wye River Kennel did have a website that depicted their services, rates and offerings, it did not meet the needs of their customers and was highly outdated.  After meeting with the owners, we quickly discovered what was needed ensure the kennels continued growth.  From there, A Digital Mind developed a new / modern website that left new and existing customers with a true online representation of who Wye River Kennel is.

To address the companies issues during the pet intake / drop off process, intake documentation was created and hosted online and a downloads section was added to the site.  This in turn allowed customers to complete and print out all documentation required, prior to their pets stay.

Through the use of Arial Drone and Standard Filming, we were able to capture the true essence of the kennel and produced a video to visually show customers what a day is like at Wye River Kennel.  We also incorporated professional photography to highlight the spacial differences animals at Wye River Kennel had to exercise and play in vs that of competing kennels.  Online forms were also developed so customers had a way to make reservations or request more information.
